The role of the Cabinet is to develop, propose and implement policy.

Its forward plan identifies key decisions that are going to be made on behalf of the council, and who will be making those decisions. The forward plan can be viewed here. This will also highlight whether any reports are to be considered in private and will outline the reason for this decision.
The Cabinet meets every month. Meetings are generally open to the public although some meetings or parts of meetings are held in private.
