The following matter is for consideration by Members "In Committee". It will therefore be necessary to -
That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the paragraph indicated in Part 1 of Schedule 12 A of the Act:-
Appeal against Dismissal (on the grounds of redundancy) (Paragraph 1)
The public interest in maintaining the exemptions outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information because the reports contain personal and sensitive information relating to an individual, under the Data Protection Act. Disclosure would be a breach of the fair processing provisions of the act.
